Hypnosis for Stage Fright and Fear of Speaking
"We all get butterflies. The difference is the pros get them to fly in formation!"
- Zig Zigler
The only difference between fear and excitement is anticipating a positive outcome. Think about it. Either way your heart beats faster. Your breathing speeds up. You sweat. You are super aware of the present moment.
You could be in that state because you are waiting in the wings about to go on stage frightened or you could be in that same physical state because you are about to make love to your life partner. Your body doesn't know the difference between the excitement and the fear. But your MIND does!
Sometimes people are afraid of speaking in public because they were embarassed as a child by an incident you don't even consciously remember. Or maybe it's because a job is riding on this presentation. Maybe you have always been afraid to get in front of people to talk or perform or maybe it's a new thing. It really doesn't matter.
What matters is: What are you going to do about it?
Are you going to let a fear limit your life?
Or are you going to learn about hypnosis and how it can help you reduce your fear and learn to enjoy your time in the spotlight?
The first time I ever did a stage hypnosis show I was petrified. I had an audience of about 500 people all lined up with tickets bought and two weeks to prepare. I had taken my hypnosis certification course and hypnotized one or two people at a time in class. But this was something completely different! What if they didn't go under? What if they just stared at me like I was an idiot? "How humiliating would that be?" I thought. I was already committed and couldn't back out.
So I did what I was taught to do and used self-hypnosis. I made a personalized hypnosis recording for myself using just the basic tools I had only just learned and I listened to it every day without fail for the two weeks leading up to my first show. The day of the show itself I listened to it back-to-back and stayed in hypnosis for two solid hours.
When I walked on stage it was with my back straight, smile on my face, arms outstretched and filled with a relaxed confidence that made my first show an immediate success. I had turned my fear into excitement.
Five years later I opened for Randy Travis in front of 45,000 people and had another great show.
In-between and since I have not only performed hundreds of shows on television, cruise ships, colleges and stages big and small I have also given hundreds of speaches, taught classes and seminars and trained people in the prosperity process and how to influence with integrity. Morever, as a hypnotherapist I have taught people how to THINK and therefore FEEL like an expert presenter themselves.
You really CAN learn to relax and ENJOY being in front of people. Using hypnosis you can let go of past emotional upsets regarding performing or speaking on stage. Hypnotherapy can help you to relax intentionally when you need to including on stage and other moments when you are under pressure.
And a good hypnotist with experience both personally as an on-stage personality and helping many many people like you teach their "butterflies to fly in formation" is just a phone call away.
Using Skype hypnosis I personally will help all stage fright and public speaking clients to get over your fears and enjoy sharing what you have to say. You are a valuable human being and what you have to share is important - so let me help you develop the courage and the relaxed confidence to shine your unique light on your audiences.
